DER KAFFEE aims to supply equipment that is of satisfactory quality, matches its description and is fit for its intended purpose.
This page explains how warranty enquiries, faulty products, replacement parts and replacements are handled.
1. Key Information
- Products are covered by applicable UK statutory consumer rights.
- Additional manufacturer warranties vary according to the product.
- Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods may qualify for repair, replacement or refund.
- Replacement parts may be available where appropriate.
- Eligible change-of-mind returns may be requested within 30 days.
- Customers do not pay applicable return costs where the store is legally responsible for a faulty or incorrect product.
2. Statutory Consumer Rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must meet the applicable legal requirements relating to satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and description.
Where goods do not meet these standards, customers may be entitled to remedies including rejection, repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
A short-term right to reject qualifying faulty goods normally applies within 30 days, and other remedies may be available afterwards.
3. Manufacturer Warranties
Some products may carry a written manufacturer warranty. Coverage, duration, exclusions and the claims process depend on the individual product and its actual warranty documents. No universal manufacturer warranty period is promised.
Contact support for any available product-specific documentation before purchase. Statutory consumer rights apply independently of additional commercial warranties.
4. Replacement Products
Where replacement is an appropriate remedy, DER KAFFEE will aim to provide the same product.
If the original item is unavailable, we may discuss a comparable alternative or another applicable remedy.
We will not substitute an unrelated product without customer agreement.
5. Replacement Parts
If parts arrive missing, damaged or defective, contact info@derkaffeeltd.shop with your order number and photographs where possible.
We will investigate and arrange appropriate replacement parts or another remedy.
6. Damage on Delivery
Customers should inspect parcels and palletised freight promptly.
For freight deliveries, visible damage should be noted on the carrier's paperwork where practical.
Please send photographs and an explanation of the problem as soon as reasonably possible.
Please report parcel damage within 48 hours and visible freight damage on the delivery day where reasonably possible.
These are reporting requests to assist investigation, not deadlines that remove statutory rights.
7. Warranty Exclusions
Additional commercial warranties may exclude normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, inappropriate installation, overloading, negligent maintenance, unauthorised modification and other exclusions specified by the manufacturer.
Such exclusions do not remove statutory rights.
8. Making a Claim
Email support with:
- Order number.
- Product name and model.
- Description of the problem.
- Photos or video where helpful.
- Relevant warranty documents.
We review the information supplied and explain the appropriate next steps. Investigation times depend on the product and the information needed; this does not delay or remove any remedy required by law.
