Aluminum Louvered Pergola 10 x 13 ft, Charcoal

This freestanding aluminum pergola gives a patio a solid, architectural roof that you can adjust through the day. The roof is a row of extruded aluminum louvers that rotate from fully open to fully closed with a hand crank: open them for sun, angle them for filtered shade, or close them so rain runs off into the built-in gutter channel and down through a corner post.

Assembly: two adults, a ladder and a drill with a masonry bit; plan on 5 – 7 hours. Anchor bolts for a concrete slab are included. For decks or soil, use footings sized by a local contractor. The illustrated manual walks through post, beam, louver and crank installation.

Care: rinse with mild soapy water twice a season and keep the gutter channel clear of leaves. Open the louvers fully before heavy snow and brush snow off rather than letting it build up.
